Singular Velvet Appliqué is one of the darkest materials we make.

This is a 2" x 2" sample square velvet, over-coated with Singularity LT, and backed with an aerospace grade adhesive 3M 467MP. Optically, it absorbs >99% of visible light (400-800nm), and absorbs very well in the infrared, >98.7% at 2000nm. As an applique, it can be cut to any shape, and then applied to a surface. It has exceptional grazing angle performance too, so it is perfect for telescope lining, or other projects where a low outgassing, high performance appliqué is required.
