Singular Velvet Appliqué is one of the darkest materials we make. It is a 12"x12" square velvet, over-coated with Singularity LT, and backed with an aerospace grade adhesive 3M 467MP. Optically, it absorbs >99% of visible light (400-800nm), and absorbs very well in the infrared, >98.7% at 2000nm.

As an applique, it can be cut to any shape, even on a Cricut, and then applied to a surface. It has exceptional grazing angle performance too, so when its applied to the interior of spaces it creates a void with mindblowing depth. 

Custom larger sizes can be made and it can be ordered without adhesive backing, Just call if you require something custom.
